Waiting for Dad.

Sawyer and I both look forward to Marc getting home from work every day.  When Marc calls on his way home we both get excited.  Sawyer loooooves it when her dad gets home and plays with her, I am pretty sure she spends most of her day just waiting for him to get home - they are buddies. While Sawyer waits for her dad, I take pictures...because even if we are out of fun ideas for the day, this little face never gets old.

Dear Harper

Dear Harper,

I love you so much but I think it's about time you move out. The way you dance around and wiggle your little body makes me feel sick. And not only do I
feel sick, I actually get sick...and throw up.

You are allowed to stay in your current home for another month or so, but please do not stay until the end of your lease (which is up in two months) because I would prefer to hang out with you when you're outside my body, and I think we will get along better then.

I think it's funny that you flutter like a butterfly and swim like a fish, but unfortunately, my stomach does not feel the same way, and she was there first.

With that being said, please consider my request and feel free to join me, your dad, and your sister sooner than later.

Thanks & With Love,
Your Mom

Mrs. Clean

Today I had a major cleaning day and I discovered a couple of new cleaning products that changed my life...

This stuff smells so good; it is almond scented, and my sniffer is a sucker for that smell of sweet deliciousness.  I hate dusting, but today I dusted my entire house because I just couldn't get enough of it. And, it is a planet-friendly cleaning product...trying to do what I can in honor of Earth Day ;)

This stuff is also almond house smells so yummy right now.  My hardwood floors are a pain to keep clean (they are really dark wood...I have to vacuum/mop like every single day) but when they are all sparkly they look so pretty.  You just squirt this stuff on the floor and mop it up. Simple.

You can get method brand cleaners at Target (and on if you prefer to do your shopping online).  Anyways, I normally don't get so excited about cleaning stuff, but this was a good find in my book.

Made in the Shade

Marc stayed home and played with Sawyer today while I went off to a photo shoot.  These two played at the park for almost 3 hours! Impressive, right?! When I was getting ready to head home I checked my email on my iPhone and I had these pictures waiting for me...and they made me smile.

Sawyer is so lucky...her dad is awesome and they always have so much fun together.  Thanks Marc, you rock :)

At the Park with Our Toddler

We took Sawyer to the park this afternoon and she was all smiles.  Marc has been taking Sawyer to the park when I have been busy with photo shoots, but I haven't been to the park with them in awhile, and I was shocked to see how much Sawyer has grown up in such a quick amount of time.  Our baby girl is totally a toddler now.  It makes me a little sad, but it is also just so much fun.

The last time I was at the park with Sawyer she wasn't digging the swings,  she loves them now!

Sawyer goes down the slide all by herself now, and she isn't even a little bit scared.  Marc was giving Sawyer a little pep talk here.

She laughed and giggled the whole way down.

This is on one of those things that you stand on and spin.  After she got off the spinny thing Marc tried to hold onto her until she regained her balance, but she wanted to run.  Of course, she face planted in the sand because she was so dizzy.  She brushed it off and went on to the next thing.

I love this little girl - she makes me laugh :)

Marc: "The doctor called and left a message, she said you are bulimic."
Brynn: "Um, I think I would know if I was bulimic..."
Marc: "Wait, I know it was something with an "ic" at the end, but maybe it wasn't bulimic. Anemic! She said you are mildy anemic!"

As it turns out, I am not just a tired, lazy, sleepy-head, I have an excuse.  I had my glucose levels checked last week and my sugar levels are fine, but I seem to have mild anemia.  Now that I am taking an iron supplement along with a prenatal vitamin I will hopefully wake up a bit.  See friends, there was a reason I was always complaining about being so sleepy ;)

Whoops, I had a little bit of a brain fart the other day.  While I was blow drying Sawyer's hair something seemed off, but I couldn't figure out what was different...

About an hour later I realized that I parted Sawyer's hair on the wrong side (well, after looking at this picture, it almost looks like I parted her hair down the middle).  This was a total hair crisis for Sawyer...her bangs didn't know what to do or where to go.   I would like to blame this one on pregnancy brain, I have only been doing her hair the exact same way for her entire life.
